Our Work

Software we've built, and where each one stands

Operations platforms, AI features, and websites for small businesses and nonprofits — each labeled honestly as in daily use, live, or a working prototype. Some clients are named; others are described by industry to protect their privacy.

Running businesses today

Mr. Camera HQ In daily use Runs our own family's production company: estimates, crew booking by text, equipment tracking, rentals, and QuickBooks sync. An AI assistant turns "add two camera ops for three days" into estimate line items. Read the case study.
Stickman HQ Live Full operations platform for a Las Vegas production company: crew, rentals, AI-drafted estimates, and financials in one system. Shown with demo data. Read the case study.
Umbrella HQ Live Grant tracking and audit-ready grant records for a nonprofit bookkeeping firm. AI pulls grant terms from award letters and line items from receipts and budgets, for a person to review. Shown with demo data. Read the case study.
Revenant Portal In daily use Our own client portal: invoices, contracts, and support tickets. Bug reports from client sites are sorted by AI; an AI agent can draft a fix, and nothing deploys until a person approves it. Shown with demo data.
Payroll allocation tool Live (beta) Splits a nonprofit's payroll across about two dozen funding sources and produces a journal entry that balances to the penny — no hand-typed adjustments. No AI, on purpose. Shown with invented names and figures. Read the case study.

Board financials app

Live

Monthly dashboards and board packets for a performing-arts nonprofit, replacing a monthly spreadsheet report. It's built to have AI draft the monthly summary from that month's figures, for the accountant to edit and approve before the board sees it.

Websites and our own products

We build and run our own software too. It's where we test ideas — and our AI cost numbers — on our own dime first.

WillIFit Live Our own site listing vehicle clearance heights for parking garages, for RV and truck drivers. AI reads clearance signs from street imagery: a cheap model only spots the sign, a stronger one reads it, and conflicting readings go to a human. What that costs.

GEM Beauty Bar

Live

Website for a solo esthetics studio, planned around one booking system instead of two, with a skin-type quiz and search-friendly structure. More for salons and spas.

Free-Lance

Live

Our own booking, job, and invoicing app for freelance production crew. AI imports résumés and documents — redacted first, tax forms refused — and drafts text the user must accept before anything is published.

Working prototypes

Built and working, not yet running a business day to day. We list them because they show what's possible — and because we'd rather say so than let a screenshot imply otherwise.

Gear Locker

Working prototype

A shared equipment-rental marketplace for production companies, built on Mr. Camera HQ: pooled inventory, fair-share rotation between owners, and a rules-based insurance check (coverage minimum, named insured, expiry) before any gear goes out. Demo data only; no real renters yet.

HRHQ Working prototype Multi-company HR platform: payroll runs, tax-filing deadlines, approvals, and incidents across every client company.

Logic Listings

Working prototype

For a commercial real estate brokerage: AI drafts listings in each broker's style using their past listings as examples, and an AI reviewer flags typos and gaps. The broker reviews and submits.
