Contact: dan@revenantsystems.ai ## What we build - Custom web apps: booking systems, client portals, quoting and invoicing tools, job trackers - Automation and integrations: connecting existing tools (e.g. QuickBooks Online) and ending manual re-entry - Dashboards and internal tools: the whole business on one screen - Practical AI: reading receipts, invoices, and insurance certificates into records for review; drafting replies, quotes, and monthly summaries for a person to approve ## Key facts - Pricing (standard rates, adjusted to each project and confirmed in a written quote before work starts): $650/month platform fee plus $49/month per staff login, together covering hosting, monitoring, backups, security updates, bug fixes, and email support; changes and new features after launch at $150/hour, only after written approval; larger builds may carry a one-time build fee. Example: a five-person shop pays $895/month. - Third-party services, including AI usage, are included at ordinary levels; for heavy usage beyond the baseline we tell the client first, then either pass the extra through at cost or agree on new pricing in writing. SMS, data migration, new integrations, hands-on training, and on-site work are quoted separately; email support is included. - Data: clients own their data; on exit it is made available for export in a common format, with 30 days after the agreement ends to take it. Revenant Systems owns and maintains the software and licenses it to clients. Either side can end an agreement with 60 days' written notice. - Timeline: simple tools typically ship in 1–2 weeks; full platforms in 4–8 weeks (ranges from past projects, not promises). - Process: Discover (free conversation) → Design (written quote) → Build → Launch and support. - Founder: Dan Jacobs. In daily use. - Stickman HQ — operations platform for a Las Vegas production company. Live. - Umbrella HQ — grant tracking and audit-ready grant records for a nonprofit bookkeeping firm, with AI extraction of grant terms and receipts for review. Live. - Revenant Portal — the company's own client portal; AI sorts bug reports and nothing deploys until a person approves it. In daily use. - Board financials app — monthly dashboards and board packets for a performing-arts nonprofit, built to have AI draft the summary for the accountant to approve. Live. - Payroll allocation tool — splits a nonprofit's payroll across about two dozen funding sources into a balanced journal entry. No AI.
